To identify ceramic artworks from Lunar Rain, please refer to the maker’s marks located underneath each piece.
All Lunar Rain hand-painted ceramic art is made of white porcelain or red earthenware with hand-painted paintings on the upper surface and maker’s marks on the underside.
If any of the maker’s marks are missing or look visually different in style or colour or size, it is not a genuine Lunar Rain piece. If you need help confirming the authenticity of a piece, please email us at [email protected]
Our hand-painted ring cones have these 4 identifying marks on the inside of each cone:
1.) “LUNAR RAIN” hand-painted on in blue.
2.) A hand-painted raindrop containing a capital “L” in blue.
3.) The artist’s initials signed in blue. Identifies who painted the piece.
The cursive initials M.C. stands for Melissa Chen, our brand’s designer.
4.) The year of creation hand written in blue.
