As our business has grown, there has been an increase in fake products. Some individuals have been copying our designs, stealing our photos, and selling fake versions of our work both online and offline.

Most of these fakes ship out from China and Australia. The popularity of our oceanic designs in Australia, combined with China’s strong trade relationship with Australia, has contributed to the spread of these fakes.

Please note that we do not have any official stockists in China or Australia at this time, despite the popularity of our designs in these countries. If you purchase a Lunar Rain design from a store based in China or Australia, it is likely to be a fake. We have removed the majority of these fakes from online platforms. The safest way to ensure you are purchasing an authentic piece is to buy directly from us or from one of our official stockists listed on our website. We ship worldwide.

We have confirmed that fake versions of our work have been sold in Australia, particularly in the Sydney area and on the Gold Coast. These have been found in both jewellery and clothing retail stores. We are actively monitoring for additional sellers of fakes. Most of the fakes are manufactured in Yiwu and Dongguan, China. Due to the scale of the issue, we have hired legal teams in both China and Australia to address the problem.

All of our creations are copyright registered prior to publication, giving us the earliest possible registration dates. This makes it easy for us to prove that a design originated from us. Additionally, our brand name, Lunar Rain, is trademarked and may not be used without our permission.
