Dancing Parotia Bird of Paradise Earrings © in oxidized sterling silver and enamel. These earrings are based on the western parotia bird of paradise during it’s mating dance when it holds feathers out to form a skirt shape and dances a ballet like dance. These beautiful birds are native to Papua New Guinea. On our earrings, the body and legs of the parotia move freely like a bell. When worn, the earrings mimic the movements of the real birds. These earrings are a part of our Earthly Delights collection.
