Enamelled 18k gold earrings based on the golden chrysalis of the Harmonia Tigerwing butterfly from Central and South America. This species of butterfly evolved to have a gold chrysalis to camouflage themselves from predators. In nature, the gold chrysalis resembles resembles drops of water or spots of sunlight. Our 18k gold chrysalis earrings are approximately 1.3 times bigger than the natural chrysalides, and are hollow to be as light as possible. Each earring has black enamel detailing that has been meticulously hand-painted on. These earrings are carefully handmade by skilled artisans.
